Department 7 was dispatched for a structure fire with possible entrapment at an apartment building on Old State Road in Sadsbury Township. Assisting at the scene were Conneaut Lake Park VFD Dept 5, Conneaut Lake Area Ambulance Service dept 31 and Conneaut Lake Regional Police Department. Quick work by firefighters from both departments put a stop to what could have been a serious situation. Upon arrival of the first unit from Department 7, all occupants were found to be out of the building.

It is with deepest sympathy that we say goodbye to our beloved friend and employee Lisa Coulter who passed away Sunday January 22, 2012 after a courageous battle. Throughout it all, she never stopped smiling. The employees of Station 3 and Fire Fighters of Department 7 extend our deepest sympathy to her family. May she rest in Peace.

Following are photos of the Flight 93 Memorial dedication provided by Kevin and Artie VanHonk. Kevin and Artie participated in the Flight 93 Memorial Ride which started at Street Track & Trail the morning of September 10 and proceeded to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville Pa. Conneaut Lake VFD Department 7, along with Conneaut Lake Park VFD Department 5 was very proud to sponsor Kevin & Artie to participate in the Memorial Ride. Let us never forget the sacrifice made on 9/11/2001 by so many individuals. God Bless them all.

Following are photos of the Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) class held at the Port Meadville Airport on Saturday August 27 and Sunday August 28, 2011. The training, provided by Kellogg Community College from Michigan, was made available by Federal Department of Homeland Security funding through the Northwestern PA Emergency Response group. Thank you to all of the personnel involved in setting up this valuable training. And a special thank you to Vernon Central Hose Company for hosting the class room training and providing the meals courtesy of your Ladies Axillary. Good eats!!
